UPCOMING CAMPING EVENT - CAMPING SWAP AND SELL AT OUR "ALMOST CANADA DAY" TRIAL!

We all have camping stuff we bought cus it was cool, and, well, we never used it.  Or we bought it on sale

only to find it doesn't fit!  So why hold on to it anymore?   Set up your no longer needed treasures in the equipment building and on Saturday night we will have our own garage sale and maybe a bevvy or two!

Keep this in mind when you open up your camper this season!  And make a list of things you need.   Then, bring it to the trial at the end of June and you may be able to sell or swap for something on your wish list!

WATER:  The water at the fairgrounds is not suitable for consumption which means it is not suitable for your fresh water tanks.  You will need to fill up at home before you arrive.

DUMPING:  Dumping of grey and / or black tanks is not permitted.  You can purchase an annual Provincial Parks pass which will allow you to use their dump station on your way home.  You can also contact Black River Campground just outside of Washago.  They often allow you to use their dump station for a small fee.  Please call before you drive there to make arrangements.

FIRES:  Personal campfires (even for cooking) at your campsite are NOT permitted.  However, we often host a larger campfire for everyone when the area is not under a municipal fire ban.  You will be notified in advance when we are having one!  Bring your lawn chair...oh...and bug spray!  (It is Muskoka after all!)

POWER:  There are no electrical plugs available for you to hook up your camper.   Please do not plug anything into any electrical outlet without the permission of Pam or Sean.  You may use the plugs in the bathroom to charge your phone and any small electrical devices.

GARBAGE:  Muskoka is now under very extreme garbage limitations.  Please take all of your camping garbage home.  Anyone found using a fairgrounds garbage can for camping garbage will be charged a tipping fee.
